  1. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software systems.
  2. Identify and report software defects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  3. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  4. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Work closely with software developers to understand technical requirements and provide input on design and implementation.
  6. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and testability.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing and incorporate them into our testing processes.
  8. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to prioritize and schedule testing activities.
  9. Communicate test results and progress to project stakeholders and make recommendations for improvements.
  10. Mentor and coach junior members of the testing team to improve their skills and knowledge.
  11. Take ownership of testing activities and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of work.
  12. Maintain documentation of test cases, procedures, and results for future reference.
  13. Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.
  14. Stay current on PepsiCo's technology stack and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  15. Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless integration of software systems.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Software Testing And Quality Assurance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Software Testing, With A Proven Track Record Of Designing And Executing Comprehensive Test Plans And Strategies.

  • Expertise In Test Automation: The Senior Principal Software Test Engineer Should Possess Advanced Skills In Test Automation, Including Proficiency In Scripting Languages And Experience With Automation Tools Such As Selenium Or Appium.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Should Have Demonstrated Experience In Leading And Managing Complex Software Testing Projects, As Well As Mentoring And Guiding Junior Team Members.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Software Development Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Software Development Methodologies, Such As Agile Or Scrum, And Should Be Able To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Ensure Timely And High-Quality Software Releases.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: The Senior Principal Software Test Engineer Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Identify And Troubleshoot Complex Issues In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment. They Should Also Be Able To Propose Effective Solutions And Drive Their Implementation.
