Maintenance & Engineering Supervisor - 2nd Shift

- Manage a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment and facilities.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to prioritize maintenance and engineering needs to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, and promote a culture of safety among team members.
- Manage and track maintenance and engineering budgets, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing expenses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and upgrades.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments, and recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve maintenance and engineering processes.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management regarding maintenance and engineering activities, issues, and progress.
Technical Expertise: A Maintenance & Engineering Supervisor At Pepsico Must Possess Strong Technical Knowledge And Understanding Of Machinery And Equipment Used In The Manufacturing Process. They Should Have The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Maintenance Issues.
Leadership Skills: This Role Involves Managing A Team Of Maintenance And Engineering Technicians, Therefore, Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills Are Essential. The Supervisor Should Be Able To Motivate And Guide The Team To Achieve Production Targets And Minimize Downtime.
Experience In Maintenance Management: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Maintenance Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Production Environment. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Managing Maintenance Operations Efficiently.
Safety And Compliance Knowledge: Pepsico Places A High Emphasis On Safety And Compliance In Its Manufacturing Facilities. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Regulations And Compliance Standards, And Be Able To Ensure All Maintenance Work Is Carried Out In A Safe And Compliant Manner.
