1. Serve as the primary expert on securities laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on any changes or updates that may affect the company.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with securities laws and regulations at all levels of the organization.
3. Oversee the company's corporate governance practices, including board meetings, shareholder communications, and proxy statements.
4. Advise and provide strategic legal guidance to the executive leadership team on various business initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and other corporate activities.
