1. Develop and implement global procurement strategies that align with PepsiCo's overall business objectives and drive cost savings and efficiency across all categories.
2. Act as a strategic leader, providing guidance and direction to cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure successful execution of procurement initiatives.
3. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and agreements to drive innovation, quality, and sustainability within the supply chain.
4. Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
5. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including finance, operations, and legal teams, to ensure alignment and compliance with company policies and procedures.
6. Utilize data and analytics to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements, and develop and implement action plans to achieve targets.
7. Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
8. Stay abreast of industry and regulatory changes related to procurement and make recommendations to adapt and evolve PepsiCo's procurement strategies accordingly.
9. Continuously monitor and improve procurement processes and systems to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
10. Represent PepsiCo at industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay informed on current trends and best practices in procurement.
