  1. Manage a portfolio of freight brokerage accounts to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers to facilitate smooth and successful transactions.
  3. Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to ensure competitive pricing and optimal service.
  4. Monitor and analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to develop and implement strategic plans.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and communication with clients and carriers.
  7. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the transportation process.
  8. Keep abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure full adherence.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address any concerns or inquiries from clients and carriers.
  10. Continuously seek out new business opportunities and work towards achieving revenue targets.
  11. Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and best practices.
  13. Continuously strive for professional development and stay updated on industry advancements and trends.
  14. Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold its reputation in the transportation industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: As An Account Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Carriers And Customers. Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills Are Essential For Successful Account Management.

  • Proven Track Record Of Sales And Customer Service: This Role Requires The Candidate To Have A Sales-Oriented Mindset And A Track Record Of Achieving Sales Targets. Additionally, Previous Experience In Customer Service Is Important For Maintaining Positive Relationships With Clients.
