- Operate forklifts to move materials and products safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure proper functioning.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other containers using the forklift.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory using the forklift.
- Collaborate with team members and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials.
- Communicate any issues or concerns with materials or equipment to the appropriate parties.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Valid Forklift Certification: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Valid Forklift Certification From An Accredited Training Program. This Ensures That They Have The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Operate A Forklift Safely And Efficiently.
Prior Forklift Operating Experience: Experience Operating A Forklift In A Warehouse Or Manufacturing Setting Is Preferred For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Loading And Unloading Procedures, Inventory Management, And Operating Different Types Of Forklifts.
Ability To Work Nights And Weekends: This Position Requires Working Night Shifts And Occasional Weekends, So The Candidate Must Be Able To Commit To This Schedule. Flexibility In Scheduling Is Also Desirable, As Production Schedules May Change.
Strong Attention To Detail: A Forklift Operator Must Be Able To Accurately And Efficiently Move And Store Products In A Warehouse. This Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure The Correct Products Are Being Moved And Stored In The Appropriate Locations.
Physical Fitness: This Role Requires Standing, Walking, And Operating A Forklift For Extended Periods Of Time. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Move Heavy Objects (Up To 50 Lbs) As Needed. Good Hand-Eye Coordination, Balance, And Spatial Awareness Are Also Important.
