Job Description

PepsiCo is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Program Specialist to join our Food Safety team and drive continuous improvement initiatives. As a Program Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our products, while also fostering a culture of continuous improvement.   1. Develop and implement food safety programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
  4. Analyze and report on food safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  5. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on food safety best practices.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and regulations related to food safety and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance food safety processes and procedures.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and industry associations.
  9. Communicate food safety policies, procedures, and updates to all relevant employees.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate food safety processes and procedures for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability throughout the organization.
  12. Manage and maintain all documentation related to food safety programs and initiatives.
  13. Conduct root cause analysis and develop action plans to address any food safety incidents or issues.
  14. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the safety and quality of all raw materials and ingredients.
  15. Provide guidance and support to other team members, as needed.
  16. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall company performance.
  17. Represent the company in regulatory and industry meetings and conferences related to food safety.
  18. Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in food safety through continuous learning and development opportunities.
  19. Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on food safety initiatives and progress.
  20. Uphold the company's values and standards of integrity and professionalism at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Food Science, Nutrition, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Food Safety And Quality Assurance.

  • Strong Understanding Of Fda And Usda Regulations And Requirements.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Food Safety And Quality Improvement Programs.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills.
