  1. Perform regular maintenance and repair tasks on the company's fleet of vehicles, including trucks, vans, and cars.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify and troubleshoot any mechanical issues.
  3. Keep detailed records of all maintenance tasks performed, including parts used and time spent on each vehicle.
  4. Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and supplies for fleet maintenance.
  5. Ensure all vehicles are in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
  7. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and provide timely solutions.
  8. Communicate with management about any issues or concerns regarding fleet maintenance.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and techniques in vehicle maintenance.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as safety protocols.
  11. Train and mentor junior technicians when needed.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including drivers and dispatchers.
  14. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  15. Follow proper disposal and recycling procedures for used parts and materials.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Fleet Maintenance Procedures: A Qualified Fleet Maintenance Technician At Pepsico Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Vehicle Maintenance, Repair, And Diagnostic Procedures. They Should Be Able To Handle Various Types Of Equipment, Including Trucks, Trailers, Forklifts, And Other Industrial Vehicles.

  • Experience With Preventative Maintenance Programs: Pepsico Places A Strong Emphasis On Preventive Maintenance To Ensure The Continuous Operation Of Their Fleet. The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Experience Implementing And Managing Preventative Maintenance Programs To Minimize Downtime And Increase Efficiency.

  • Proficiency In Diagnostic Tools And Software: With The Advancement Of Technology In The Automotive Industry, It Is Important For A Fleet Maintenance Technician To Be Proficient In Using Diagnostic Tools And Software To Identify And Troubleshoot Issues With Vehicles. This Includes Knowledge Of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Cmms), Electronic Diagnostic Tools, And Other Software Used In The Industry.

  • Familiarity With Safety Regulations: Pepsico Puts A High Priority On Safety, And The Fleet Maintenance Technician Should Be Well-Versed In Safety Regulations And Procedures. This Includes Knowledge Of Osha Regulations, Proper Handling Of Hazardous Materials, And Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe) Requirements.
