  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to find solutions
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty parts and components, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Communicate with production and maintenance teams to prioritize and coordinate maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to production
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent, in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Stay current on industry developments and advancements, continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and procedures
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and other team members as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to identify and implement process improvements and equipment upgrades.

Job Qualifications
  • D10K License: A Field Service Technician At Pepsico Should Hold A Valid D10K License, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Expertise In Operating And Maintaining Equipment Used In The Production, Packaging, And Distribution Of Pepsico Products.

  • Technical Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Technical Background, With A Thorough Understanding Of Mechanical, Electrical, And Computerized Systems. This Includes The Ability To Diagnose And Troubleshoot Issues With Production Equipment And Make Necessary Repairs.

  • Experience In Field Service: Prior Experience In A Field Service Role, Preferably In The Food And Beverage Industry, Is Highly Desired. This Experience Should Include A Track Record Of Successfully Resolving Technical Issues And Providing Exceptional Customer Service.

  • Organizational Skills: Field Service Technicians At Pepsico Are Responsible For Managing Their Own Schedules And Completing Service Calls In A Timely And Efficient Manner. Strong Organizational Skills Are Essential To Effectively Prioritize Tasks And Ensure Customer Needs Are Met.

  • Safety Consciousness: As A Field Service Technician, Safety Is Of The Utmost Importance. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Be Able To Identify And Mitigate Potential Hazards In The Field.
