  1. Develop and implement enterprise-wide technology strategies in alignment with PepsiCo's overall business goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team of application architects to design and build innovative and transformational solutions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  4. Stay updated on the latest technology trends and developments in the industry to continuously improve and enhance PepsiCo's technology infrastructure.
  5. Manage the entire application architecture lifecycle, from design to implementation and maintenance.
  6. Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of all applications and systems.
  7. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues in the application architecture.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners.
  9. Create and manage budgets for application architecture projects.
  10. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  11. Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing and innovative team.
  12. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
  13. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in application architecture.
  14. Collaborate with other technology leaders to develop and execute overall technology strategy for PepsiCo.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Application Architecture: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Application Architecture, With A Strong Background In Designing And Implementing Complex Enterprise Applications.

  • Strong Technical Skills: The Director Of Application Architecture Should Possess Strong Technical Skills In Areas Such As Software Development, Cloud Computing, Api Integration, And Database Management.

  • Strategic Thinking And Leadership: This Role Requires The Ability To Think Strategically And Provide Direction For The Development Of Innovative And Efficient Application Architectures. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Architects And Developers.

  • Business Acumen: A Successful Director Of Application Architecture At Pepsico Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Business And Industry, With The Ability To Align Application Architecture With Business Goals And Objectives.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Strong Relationships With Key Business Partners.
