Brokerage Carrier Manager

1. Manage relationships with external transportation partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of PepsiCo products to customers.
2. Oversee the coordination of shipments, including negotiating rates, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
3. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with carriers, continually seeking new and more efficient transportation solutions.
4. Monitor carrier performance metrics and work with carriers to address any areas of improvement.
5. Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and production, to ensure smooth and effective transportation operations.
6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to make informed decisions and identify potential opportunities.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of carrier contracts, rates, and performance.
8. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
10. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including customers and internal teams, to provide updates on transportation status and address any concerns.
11. Train and mentor team members on best practices for managing relationships with carriers.
12. Monitor and manage budget and expenses related to transportation operations.
13. Stay updated on PepsiCo products, services, and policies to provide knowledgeable and effective support to customers and carriers.
14. Represent PepsiCo in a professional and positive manner at all times.
15. Continuously evaluate and assess carrier performance to ensure alignment with PepsiCo’s quality standards.
