
Staff Application Security Engineer

- Develop and implement security measures and protocols to protect Peloton's applications and systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and best practices to continuously improve Peloton's security posture.
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to proactively identify and address any security gaps.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, working closely with the incident response team to mitigate and remediate any issues.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure security best practices are being followed.
- Conduct security training and awareness sessions for employees to promote a culture of security.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Communicate and report on security issues and recommendations to senior management.
- Act as a subject matter expert on application security, providing guidance and support to other teams.
- Continuously improve and optimize Peloton's security program to align with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure their security measures meet Peloton's standards.
- Act as a mentor to junior members of the security team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Participate in on-call rotations to respond to any security incidents outside of normal business hours.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Application Security Engineering Or A Related Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Web Application Security Vulnerabilities And Remediation Techniques.
Experience With Source Code Analysis, Penetration Testing, And Vulnerability Scanning Tools.
Familiarity With Industry Security Standards And Regulations Such As Owasp, Pci-Dss, And Gdpr.
