Sr. FATP Supplier Quality Engineer

- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products are delivered.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes for all components and materials received from suppliers.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Work closely with suppliers to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to product quality.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track supplier performance.
- Train and mentor junior quality engineers to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in new product development processes to ensure supplier quality requirements are met.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to address quality-related concerns.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any quality issues.
- Lead and facilitate quality improvement initiatives with suppliers.
- Stay updated on new technologies and processes related to supplier quality.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all quality-related activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: As A Sr. Fatp Supplier Quality Engineer At Peloton, A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Is Essential. This Will Provide A Solid Foundation In Technical Principles And Processes, As Well As The Ability To Understand And Analyze Complex Data.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Supplier Quality Engineering: This Role Requires A Significant Amount Of Experience In Supplier Quality Engineering, Preferably In The Fitness Or Consumer Goods Industry. A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Improving Supplier Quality Is Crucial For This Position.
Strong Knowledge Of Quality Management Systems And Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Quality Management Systems And Tools, Such As Iso 9001 And Six Sigma. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Develop And Implement Quality Processes And Procedures Within The Supply Chain.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Sr. Fatp Supplier Quality Engineer, The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Suppliers, Cross-Functional Teams, And Management Is Essential. This Role Involves Working Closely With Various Departments To Identify And Resolve Quality Issues, So Strong Collaboration Skills Are Crucial.
Attention To Detail And Strong Analytical Skills: The Role Of A Sr. Fatp Supplier Quality Engineer Requires A Keen Eye For Detail And Strong Analytical Skills.
