
Senior Engineer, Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing

- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and increase efficiency.
- Identify and analyze areas for improvement within the manufacturing facilities.
- Lead and facilitate lean manufacturing projects and initiatives, including value stream mapping, 5S, and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and standardization across all manufacturing facilities.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and monitor progress.
- Develop and maintain metrics to track and measure process improvements and cost savings.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and other departments.
- Train and mentor team members on lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve processes and systems.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to gain buy-in and support for improvement initiatives.
- Lead and participate in problem-solving efforts to address production issues and improve overall quality and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all improvement efforts.
- Create and maintain documentation related to continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to improve processes and reduce costs.
- Proactively identify and address potential risks and obstacles to improvement initiatives.
Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, With A Strong Background In Continuous Improvement And Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field, With A Preference For Candidates With A Master's Degree Or Relevant Certifications (E.g. Six Sigma, Lean, Etc.).
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Leading Continuous Improvement Initiatives, With A Focus On Driving Operational Efficiencies And Cost Savings.
Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Develop A Team Of Engineers And Cross-Functional Teams To Drive Change And Achieve Goals.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization And Present Complex Data And Recommendations In A Clear And Concise Manner.
