As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are delivered to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. - Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments of coffee products and supplies.
- Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
- Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Follow proper storage and handling procedures to maintain product quality and freshness.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move products and materials.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Communicate any product or inventory discrepancies to management.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as needed.
- Continuously seek ways to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
- Uphold a positive and professional attitude while working independently and as part of a team.
- Train and mentor new warehouse associates as needed.
Experience In Warehouse Operations: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Warehouse Setting, Preferably In The Food Or Beverage Industry.
Forklift Certification: The Ability To Operate A Forklift Safely And Efficiently Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Possess A Valid Forklift Certification Or Be Willing To Obtain One.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy And Attention To Detail Are Crucial In A Warehouse Environment, Especially When Handling Food And Beverage Products. Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Maintaining A High Level Of Accuracy In Their Work.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Frequent Lifting, Bending, And Standing For Extended Periods. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Team Player: A Warehouse Associate At Peet's Coffee Will Work Closely With Other Team Members To Ensure The Smooth Operation Of The Warehouse. Candidates Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment.
