If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Peet's Coffee is seeking a dynamic Shift Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and leading and developing a team of baristas. We are looking for someone who is driven, personable, and has a strong understanding of coffee and its culture.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
  2. Ensure exceptional customer service by setting a high standard for customer interactions and training team members to do the same.
  3. Lead and develop a team of baristas, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to help them reach their full potential.
  4. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration among team members.
  5. Monitor and maintain product quality, ensuring that all drinks and food items are prepared according to company standards.
  6. Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Conduct regular team meetings and trainings to keep team members updated on new products, promotions, and procedures.
  8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including the front and back of house areas.
  9. Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to meet sales goals and increase profitability.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product developments to continuously improve the customer experience.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and health regulations.
  12. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  13. Act as a role model for the team by consistently demonstrating professionalism, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

  • Previous Supervisory Experience In A Fast-Paced Retail Or Customer Service Environment.
