Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Retail Systems Administrator to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our retail systems. As a Retail Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our point-of-sale and inventory management systems, as well as providing technical support to our retail staff. To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of retail systems and possess excellent problem-solving skills.   1. Maintain and improve the functionality of our point-of-sale and inventory management systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  2. Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise with our retail systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
  3. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address any potential issues to minimize downtime.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement updates and enhancements to our retail systems.
  5. Train and support retail staff on the proper use and troubleshooting of our systems.
  6. Ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest software and security patches.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation and procedures related to retail systems for training and reference purposes.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in retail technology to make recommendations for improvements and updates to our systems.
  9. Manage user accounts and permissions for all retail systems.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding system updates, changes, and issues.
  11. Proactively identify areas for improvement in the retail systems and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  12. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery tests to ensure the security and integrity of our retail systems.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to the use and maintenance of retail systems.
  14. Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and implement system upgrades.
  15. Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay informed about company policies, goals, and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Systems Administration, Preferably In A Retail Or Food Service Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Network Infrastructure, Including Routers, Switches, And Firewalls.

  • Experience With Point-Of-Sale (Pos) Systems, Inventory Management Software, And Other Retail-Specific Applications.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills, With The Ability To Resolve Technical Issues In A Timely Manner.
