HR Generalist

At Peet's Coffee, we are looking for a highly motivated and organized HR Generalist that is passionate about helping our teams succeed. This individual must be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with team members quickly. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of consistently delivering results and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing day-to-day HR support, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and training. They will also have the opportunity to support other HR initiatives and projects.Required qualifications:• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field• Extensive knowledge of state and federal labor laws• Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality• Proficiency in MS Office applications and HRIS systems

Responsibilities:

• Recruiting and onboarding new employees

• Developing and implementing employee relations plans

• Training and development for employees • Ensuring compliance with state and federal labor laws • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records • Managing employee performance reviews • Investigating employee complaints and grievances • Answering employee questions regarding policies and procedures • Assisting with special projects and HR initiatives • Facilitating employee communication and feedback • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with team members
