Barista

Welcome to Peet's Coffee! We are currently seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our team as Baristas. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving delicious coffee and tea beverages, while providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, friendly, and have a genuine love for coffee. 1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Take customer orders and prepare coffee and tea beverages according to Peet's Coffee standards.
3. Ensure that all drinks are made accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
5. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and addressing any concerns.
6. Memorize and be able to explain Peet's Coffee menu items and ingredients.
7. Handle cash and credit card transactions using the point-of-sale system.
8. Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines in handling and preparing food and beverages.
9. Work as a team with other baristas to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
10. Attend trainings and continuously improve knowledge and skills related to coffee and tea preparation.
11. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure a positive and welcoming environment.
12. Adhere to Peet's Coffee's policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance.
13. Take responsibility for restocking supplies and inventory management.
14. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
15. Maintain a positive attitude and be a brand ambassador for Peet's Coffee.
