As an Instructional Designer at Paycom, you'll work closely with our team to design and develop engaging learning experiences that support our employees' success. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate individual to take our learning initiatives to the next level.The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and development, with a strong knowledge of learning principles, adult learning theory, and instructional design methodologies. You should also have experience with learning management systems, content authoring tools, and multimedia technology. A Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field is preferred.The successful candidate should be an organized and detail-oriented individual, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Above all, you should have a passion for creating impactful and engaging learning experiences that will help our employees succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging learning experiences for Paycom employees that are based on sound instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Design and develop effective learning materials, including digital and multimedia content, using content authoring tools and learning management systems.
- Collaborate with the instructional design team to ensure successful implementation of learning initiatives.
- Maintain an organized and detailed database of learning materials and resources.
- Analyze the effectiveness of learning materials and strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate employee feedback and performance to ensure successful implementation of learning initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on advances in instructional design and technology and apply them to learning initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and stakeholders.
