  1. Manage and maintain the DevOps platform to ensure its smooth and efficient operation.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise with the platform.
  3. Optimize the platform to improve performance and scalability.
  4. Implement and maintain best practices for managing and monitoring the platform.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and updates.
  6. Continuously evaluate and improve the platform to meet the changing business needs.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for the platform and its processes.
  9. Train and support team members on the use and best practices of the DevOps platform.
  10. Identify and implement security measures to protect the platform from potential threats.
  11. Monitor system logs and metrics to proactively identify and address issues.
  12. Participate in on-call rotations to respond to any critical platform issues.
  13. Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the platform is meeting their needs and expectations.
  14. Provide technical guidance and support to other teams that utilize the DevOps platform.
  15. Continuously analyze and improve the platform's performance and cost efficiency.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Devops Principles And Best Practices: A Devops Platform Administrator At Paycom Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Principles And Methodologies Of Devops, Including Continuous Integration And Delivery, Automation, And Collaboration.

  • Proficiency In Cloud Computing And Infrastructure Management: Paycom Operates In A Cloud-Based Environment, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Managing And Optimizing Cloud Infrastructure, Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud.

  • Strong Scripting And Automation Skills: As A Devops Platform Administrator, One Should Have A Strong Command Of Scripting Languages, Such As Python, Bash, Or Powershell, To Automate Routine Tasks And Streamline Processes.
