- Lead and manage a team of retail associates, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee all aspects of the retail store, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
- Set and communicate sales goals and strategies to the team, and track and analyze performance to drive sales and meet targets.
- Create a welcoming and festive atmosphere for customers by maintaining store appearance and ensuring all displays and decorations are in line with Party City standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and processes.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders and conducting regular audits to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
- Collaborate with the store manager and other team leads to develop and implement promotional events and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to drive business growth.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with scheduling and assigning tasks to team members to ensure efficient and effective store operations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and recognition to team members.
- Act as a role model for the team by displaying a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.
