As a key holder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our store by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store operations, and leading a team of enthusiastic party enthusiasts.   1. Provide exceptional customer service: Greet and assist customers with their party needs, answer questions, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all.
  2. Maintain store operations: Open and close the store, manage cashiers and sales floor, monitor inventory levels, and ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed.
  3. Lead a team: Train and guide team members, delegate tasks, and provide ongoing support and motivation to ensure a productive and cohesive work environment.
  4. Ensure store presentation: Maintain a clean and organized store, including restocking shelves, setting up displays, and following visual merchandising guidelines.
  5. Drive sales: Encourage add-on sales, suggestively sell products, and meet or exceed sales goals.
  6. Maintain product knowledge: Stay up-to-date on current and upcoming merchandise, promotions, and services to better assist customers.
  7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints: Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Handle cash and credit transactions: Accurately process payments, returns, and exchanges while following proper cash handling procedures.
  9. Enforce store policies: Ensure that all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  10. Collaborate with management: Communicate effectively with store management regarding customer feedback, sales trends, and store operations.
  11. Assist with scheduling: Collaborate with management to schedule staff, taking into consideration store needs and employee availability.
  12. Uphold party culture: Embody the spirit of Party City by creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for customers and team members alike.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: A Qualified Retail Key Holder Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Or Management Role Within A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Similar Industry Such As Party Supplies Or Event Planning.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Key Holder, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing And Leading A Team Of Retail Associates. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Delegate Tasks Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Retail Key Holder Will Serve As A Liaison Between Store Management And The Rest Of The Team. As Such, They Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, To Effectively Convey Information And Instructions To Their Team.

  • Inventory Management Experience: Party City Is A Fast-Paced Environment With A High Volume Of Merchandise. A Qualified Retail Key Holder Should Have Experience With Inventory Management, Including Receiving, Organizing, And Replenishing Stock To Ensure The Store Is Well-Stocked And Presentable At All Times.

  • Customer Service Oriented: Party City Is Known For Its Exceptional Customer Service, And The Retail Key Holder Is Expected To Uphold This Standard. They Should Have A Strong Customer Service Mindset And Be Able To Handle And Resolve Customer Complaints And Inquiries In A Professional And Timely Manner.
