Job Description

Party City is seeking a Retail Hey Holder to join our team and help us spread joy and make memories! As a Hey Holder, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with store operations, and creating a fun and welcoming environment for our customers. If you are energetic, creative, and love all things party-related, we want you on our team!

  1. Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm and positivity upon their arrival in the store.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by listening to and addressing customer needs, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
  3. Assist customers with finding and selecting party supplies and decorations for their celebrations.
  4. Keep store shelves and displays fully stocked and organized.
  5. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the store’s point-of-sale system.
  6. Help maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of the store by regularly restocking and tidying up merchandise and displays.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
  8. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating any low or out-of-stock items to management.
  9. Keep up-to-date on current party trends and products to better assist customers with their party needs.
  10. Contribute to creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for customers by participating in store events and promotions.
  11. Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
  12. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and customer satisfaction metrics.
  13. Prioritize customer satisfaction and go above and beyond to ensure a memorable and enjoyable shopping experience for all customers.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the Party City brand and values.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by store management.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Successful Retail Key Holder At Party City Should Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To All Customers.

  • Prior Retail Experience: Party City Is Looking For Candidates With Previous Retail Experience, Preferably In A Supervisory Role, To Ensure A Smooth Operation Of The Store.

  • Leadership Abilities: As A Retail Key Holder, One Must Be Able To Lead And Motivate A Team To Achieve Sales Goals, Maintain Store Standards, And Provide A Positive Work Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Party Supplies And Trends: The Ideal Candidate Should Have An Understanding Of The Party Supplies Industry And Be Familiar With Current Trends To Help Customers Find The Perfect Products For Their Events.

  • Flexible Schedule: Party City Is A Busy Store, Especially During Peak Holiday Seasons. A Retail Key Holder Should Be Able To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays, To Support The Store's Needs.
