We are currently looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager of Global Accounts Payable to join our finance department and oversee our global accounts payable processes. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payments to our vendors and maintaining strong relationships with our global partners.   1. Oversee the global accounts payable processes for Party City, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all payments to vendors.
  2. Manage a team of accounts payable specialists and provide guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with global partners and vendors to ensure smooth payment processes and resolve any issues or disputes.
  4. Monitor and analyze accounts payable data to identify any discrepancies or opportunities for improvement.
  5. Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline the accounts payable process and ensure compliance with company and industry regulations.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and finance, to ensure alignment and accuracy in vendor payments.
  7. Manage cash flow and forecast future payment needs to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  8. Ensure all invoices and payments are properly recorded and documented for auditing purposes.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to accounts payable to ensure compliance and best practices.
  10. Act as a point of contact for any inquiries or concerns related to accounts payable from internal and external stakeholders.
  11. Train and onboard new accounts payable team members, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their roles.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  13. Communicate and collaborate with the finance department to provide accurate and timely financial reports and forecasts.
  14. Act as a representative of Party City and uphold the company's values and standards in all interactions with vendors and partners.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by fostering open communication and teamwork.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Accounts Payable Or Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Gaap And International Accounting Principles.

  • Experience Managing A Global Team Of Accounts Payable Professionals.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors And Internal Stakeholders.
