Job Description

Party City is looking for a dynamic and creative Category Manager to join our team and help bring the party to life! As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in curating and managing our product assortment to ensure we have everything our customers need to make their celebrations unforgettable. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for party planning and a keen eye for market trends to help us continue to grow and evolve our product offerings.   1. Curate and manage product assortment: The Category Manager will be responsible for curating and managing the product assortment for Party City, ensuring that it meets the needs and preferences of our customers.
  2. Stay updated on market trends: The Category Manager will need to have a strong understanding of market trends and customer preferences in order to make informed decisions about product selection and assortment.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The Category Manager will work closely with various teams such as merchandising, marketing, and operations to ensure a cohesive and strategic approach to product assortment.
  4. Conduct market research: The Category Manager will be responsible for conducting market research to identify new and emerging trends, as well as gathering customer feedback to inform product selection.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Category Management, Preferably In The Retail Or Party Supply Industry.

  • Strong Analytical And Strategic Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Identify Market Trends And Make Data-Driven Decisions.

  • Excellent Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors And Suppliers.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Managing And Developing A Team, With The Ability To Lead And Motivate Others To Achieve Sales And Profit Goals.
