  1. Receive incoming shipments and ensure accuracy of contents and documentation.
  2. Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and completing necessary paperwork.
  3. Maintain organized and efficient inventory storage and retrieval systems.
  4. Communicate with carriers and freight companies to schedule and track shipments.
  5. Work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  6. Monitor and report any discrepancies or damages in shipments.
  7. Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  9. Utilize computer systems and software to track inventory and shipments.
  10. Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
  11. Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry and company regulations and standards.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The First Qualification For A Shipping/Receiving Associate Job At Parker Hannifin Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And The Ability To Learn And Follow Instructions.

  • Previous Experience In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center Environment. This Will Ensure They Have A Basic Understanding Of Shipping And Receiving Procedures And Can Adapt Quickly To The Role.

  • Ability To Operate Warehouse Equipment: A Shipping/Receiving Associate At Parker Hannifin Will Be Responsible For Using Various Warehouse Equipment Such As Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Hand Trucks. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Experience And Be Comfortable Operating This Equipment.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills: This Role Requires Constant Communication With Different Departments And External Carriers, As Well As The Ability To Manage And Prioritize Multiple Tasks. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills.

  • Attention To Detail: In A Fast-Paced Warehouse Environment, It Is Crucial To Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accuracy In Shipping And Receiving Orders. Candidates Should Have A Strong Attention To Detail To Minimize Errors And Maintain Efficiency In The Warehouse.
