
Plant Quality Manager

- Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of quality assurance, including product inspections, testing, and auditing.
- Lead a team of quality control technicians and provide guidance and training to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions as needed.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancing overall quality performance.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of materials and components used in production.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation and records, including reports, procedures, and manuals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the plant, promoting a sense of ownership and accountability among team members.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Plant Quality Manager At Parker Hannifin Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Or A Related Field To Understand The Technical Aspects Of The Job And Effectively Manage Quality Control Processes.
Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In Quality Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Quality Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Setting. This Experience Should Include Implementing Quality Systems, Managing Audits, And Leading Process Improvement Initiatives.
Knowledge Of Quality Control Standards And Regulations: A Plant Quality Manager Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Quality Control Standards Such As Iso 9001 And As9100, As Well As Regulations Related To The Industry They Will Be Working In.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Manager, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Suppliers, And Customers. They Should Also Be Able To Motivate And Train Their Team To Maintain High Quality Standards.
Experience With Problem-Solving And Data Analysis: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Using Various Problem-Solving Techniques Such As Six Sigma, Lean, And Root Cause Analysis. They Should Also Be Proficient In Data Analysis And Able To Use Statistical Methods To Identify Trends And Drive Continuous Improvement.
