Material Handler - Production

1. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials throughout the production facility.
2. Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and are properly labeled and stored.
3. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory counts to ensure materials are properly tracked and accounted for.
4. Collaborate with production team to ensure materials are delivered to the correct production line in a timely manner.
5. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
6. Identify and report any issues or discrepancies with materials, equipment, or processes to supervisors.
7. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers, both manually and with equipment, as needed.

9. Monitor and maintain supply levels, replenishing materials as needed to avoid any production delays.
10. Continuously look for ways to improve material handling processes and make suggestions for efficiency and cost-saving measures.
11. Train and mentor new material handlers as needed to ensure they are following proper procedures and adhering to safety protocols.
12. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to safety, quality, and production.
13. Actively participate in team meetings and provide input and feedback to help improve overall operations.
14. Take responsibility for personal development and training to enhance job knowledge and skills.
