1. Oversee all logistics and trade compliance activities for Parker Hannifin's Motion Systems Division - India location.
2. Develop and implement efficient and effective logistics strategies to optimize the movement of goods and materials.
3. Ensure compliance with all applicable international and domestic trade laws and regulations.
4. Manage the customs clearance process for imports and exports, including classification, valuation, and documentation.
5. Maintain relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and other logistics service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
6. Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and coordinate shipments.
8. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for logistics and trade compliance processes.
9. Stay up-to-date on changes in trade laws and regulations, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
10. Serve as the main point of contact for any logistics or trade compliance-related inquiries or issues.
11. Train and supervise logistics and trade compliance team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
12. Participate in strategic planning and budgeting activities for the logistics and trade compliance function.
13. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
14. Ensure that all logistics and trade compliance activities are in line with Parker Hannifin's global policies and standards.
15. Represent Parker Hannifin in meetings with government agencies or other external stakeholders related to logistics and trade compliance matters.
