As the Division Materials Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, procurement, and inventory management of materials for our division.   1. Develop and implement strategies for the planning, procurement, and inventory management of materials for the division.
  2. Oversee the forecasting and demand planning process to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained.
  3. Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize excess and obsolete inventory while meeting production needs.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between materials planning and production schedules.
  5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
  7. Lead the materials planning team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in materials planning and supply chain management to drive continuous improvement.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs in the materials planning process.
  10. Collaborate with other division managers to develop and implement company-wide materials planning policies and procedures.
  11. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and procedures related to materials planning and procurement.
  12. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, to provide updates on materials planning and inventory management activities.
  13. Participate in budget planning and cost control initiatives to achieve division goals.
  14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the materials planning team.
  15. Identify and mitigate potential risks in the materials planning process to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials to meet production needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Materials Planning And Procurement, Preferably In A Manufacturing Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Principles And Supply Chain Processes.

  • Experience Leading And Developing A Team Of Materials Planners And Buyers.

  • Proficient In Erp Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Advanced Knowledge Of Microsoft Excel For Data Analysis And Reporting.
