
Applications Engineer
Applications Engineer within the Pneumatics Division working in the Engineering Test Laboratory to support transportation system development, testing, installation and trouble shooting at customers on a variety of Parker products mention above. Testing also includes environmental tests (temperature, water, humidity, salt fog etc.), and performance. In this position, you will review test procedures, perform tests, analyze data and produce comprehensive data sets per Parker’s best practices. Design and assemble pneumatic circuits to be used for testing. Author and execute test procedures relating to environmental and system requirements. Assist with the design of test fixtures that will be used for pneumatic or electromechanical testing 7. Create test reports that summarize the tests performed.
Proficiency with hand tools and building custom test setups
A demonstrated aptitude for hands on technical work
Familiar with test instrumentation such as pressure transducers, load cells, accelerometers, and thermocouples
