  1. Operate and maintain precision machining equipment to produce high-quality products in accordance with company standards and specifications.
  2. Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine machining operations and dimensions.
  3. Set up machines and tooling, adjust speeds and feeds, and make necessary modifications to achieve desired results.
  4. Monitor and troubleshoot machines for any issues or malfunctions, making adjustments as needed to ensure smooth operation.
  5. Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
  6. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  7. Keep accurate records of production and maintenance activities, including equipment maintenance and repair.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  9. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and provide suggestions for increasing efficiency and reducing waste.
  10. Mentor and train junior machinists to develop their skills and expertise.
  11. Stay updated with the latest machining techniques and technologies to improve performance and productivity.
  12. Follow company policies and procedures, including attendance, punctuality, and dress code standards.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
  14. Adhere to deadlines and work under pressure to meet production demands.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience: The Ideal Candidate For The Machinist - Level 5 (Pecna) Position At Panasonic Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Machining Operations Within A Manufacturing Environment. This Experience Should Include Proficiency In Operating And Programming Cnc Machines.

  • Strong Technical Knowledge: A Level 5 Machinist At Panasonic Should Possess A High Level Of Technical Knowledge In Various Machining Techniques And Processes. This Includes The Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings, As Well As Knowledge Of Different Materials And Their Properties.

  • Precision And Attention To Detail: As A Level 5 Machinist, The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Work With High Levels Of Precision. This Includes The Ability To Accurately Measure And Inspect Finished Parts To Ensure They Meet Quality Standards.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Problems Related To Machining Processes Is An Essential Qualification For A Machinist - Level 5 (Pecna) At Panasonic. This Includes The Ability To Identify And Resolve Issues With Cnc Machines, As Well As Finding Solutions To Optimize Production Processes.

  • Teamwork And Collaboration: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills.
