  1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems within the manufacturing facility.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed repairs, parts used, and time spent on each task.
  5. Coordinate with other members of the facilities maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance and repair tasks.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
  8. Act as a point of contact for any facility-related emergencies and respond promptly to resolve them.
  9. Collaborate with contractors and external service providers as needed for specialized maintenance tasks.
  10. Continuously seek out ways to improve maintenance processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  11. Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to production during maintenance activities.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in facilities maintenance to ensure the company remains at the forefront of technology and innovation.
  13. Train and mentor other technicians, as needed, to ensure a knowledgeable and skilled maintenance team.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times, both internally and externally.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Facility Maintenance: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Facility Maintenance, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.

  • Strong Technical Skills: As A Facilities Maintenance Technician Iii, The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing, And Other Mechanical Systems. They Should Also Have Experience With Building Automation Systems And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Repair Any Issues That Arise.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Safety Protocols And Regulations, Including Osha And Epa Guidelines. They Should Also Have Experience Implementing And Managing Safety Programs In A Facility.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: Level 5 Pecna Technicians Are Expected To Lead And Manage A Team Of Maintenance Technicians. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Supervising And Training Others, As Well As Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Certifications And Education: A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Role, But Candidates With Post-Secondary Education Or Trade Certifications In A Relevant Field Will Be Preferred. Additional Certifications In Areas Such As Hvac, Electrical, Or Plumbing Will Also Be Beneficial.
