Job Description

As Program Manger, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by managing the Enterprise Finance Transformation program. While joining the Enterprise Program Office, you’ll engage in strategic planning activities and support translation of strategies into high-level roadmap and execution scope. Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects. Decide on suitable strategies and objectives. Coordinate cross-project activities. Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff. Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities. Apply change, risk and resource management. Prepare reports for program directors. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.Report and escalate to management as needed. Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation and reporting.

Job Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, strategic planning and/or management consulting

  • Background includes an advanced degree or certification such as MBA, CFA, CPA, or PMP preferred, or the equivalent work experience

  • In-depth knowledge of financial services industry products, services, markets, and technology across the business value chain
