Job Description

Prepare investment related disclosures for the GAAP financial statements on a quarterly basis. Prepare various investment reporting, including divisional due diligence reports, bank presentations, and the Annual Report. Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Real Estate and Enterprise Risk Management to assist in the preparation of the Board Investment and Finance Committee presentation. Prepare quarterly investment results package for the divisions. Includes analysis of results and explanation of quarter over quarter trends. Provide derivative earnings results and analytics to all Divisions. Be innovative in leading improvements to reporting processes. Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and management reports as requested, requiring a thorough understanding of the data. Maintain proper controls over reporting and understanding the right level of control consciousness; assist with special projects as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • CPA preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience

  • Experience in the life insurance industry and/or financial services preferred

  • Experience with investment accounting tools such as ePam, CAMRA or Maximis

  • Ability to innovate and leverage technology for efficiencies and enhanced analytics
