- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound exams on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Accurately interpret and analyze ultrasound images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and technical data.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements and best practices in the field of vascular sonography.

Formal Education In Vascular Sonography: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Vascular Sonography From An Accredited Institution Is Required For This Position.
Ardms Certification: The Candidate Must Possess Active Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) In Vascular Sonography.
Experience In Vascular Sonography: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Full-Time Experience In Performing Vascular Ultrasound Procedures Is Preferred For This Role.
Knowledge Of Vascular Anatomy And Pathology: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Vascular Anatomy And Pathology To Accurately Perform And Interpret Ultrasound Exams.
Excellent Communication Skills: As This Role Involves Working Closely With Patients And Healthcare Professionals, Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For A Vascular Sonographer At Orlando Health. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Collaborate With Medical Staff, And Accurately Document And Report Findings.
