- Provide exceptional patient care to individuals who have experienced traumatic injuries and severe burns.
- Utilize advanced nursing skills and knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs, medication administration, and response to treatments.
- Educate patients and their families on post-care instructions and provide emotional support.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Keep up-to-date with current nursing practices and participate in continuing education activities.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a positive attitude towards patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care for patients.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced nurses and assist in their professional development.

Current Rn License In The State Of Florida: Candidates For This Position Must Possess A Valid And Active Rn License In The State Of Florida, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Competency In Providing Nursing Care.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Trauma Burn Unit: Candidates Must Have At Least 2 Years Of Recent And Relevant Experience Working In A Trauma Burn Unit, Providing Care To Patients With Severe Burns And Traumatic Injuries.
Bls And Acls Certifications: Candidates Must Hold Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications, Demonstrating Their Ability To Respond To Life-Threatening Emergencies And Provide Quality Care To Patients.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn): While An Associate's Degree In Nursing May Be Accepted, Preference Will Be Given To Candidates With A Bsn. A Higher Level Of Education Demonstrates A Commitment To Professional Development And Advanced Nursing Knowledge.
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Ideal Candidate Will Possess Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure And In A Fast-Paced Environment.
