1. Operate telephone switchboard to receive and transfer calls in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or individual.
3. Answer general inquiries and provide information to callers about Orlando Health and its services.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of all departments and personnel within the organization.
5. Monitor multiple phone lines and respond promptly to all calls.
6. Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings for various departments.
7. Handle emergency calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
8. Troubleshoot technical issues with phone systems and escalate to IT when necessary.
9. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, especially when dealing with sensitive or difficult situations.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
11. Follow established protocols and procedures for handling calls and maintaining confidentiality.

14. Monitor and respond to voicemails and emails in a timely manner.
15. Maintain a clean and organized work area and report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department.
16. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving communication processes.
17. Continuously strive to improve customer service and patient satisfaction.
18. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and protect patient confidentiality.
19. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
