- Operate telephone switchboard to receive and transfer calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or individual.
- Answer general inquiries and provide information to callers about Orlando Health and its services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of all departments and personnel within the organization.
- Monitor multiple phone lines and respond promptly to all calls.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings for various departments.
- Handle emergency calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with phone systems and escalate to IT when necessary.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, especially when dealing with sensitive or difficult situations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for handling calls and maintaining confidentiality.
- Keep accurate records of all calls and maintain call logs.
- Assist with training new Telecom Operators and provide ongoing support for team members.

Experience In Telecommunications: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In The Telecommunications Field, With A Strong Understanding Of Telecom Systems, Equipment, And Protocols.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry: Orlando Health Is A Leading Healthcare Provider In The Region, So The Telecom Operator Should Have An Understanding Of The Unique Needs And Requirements Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Hipaa Compliance.
Technical Skills: The Telecom Operator Should Possess Strong Technical Skills, Including The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues, Knowledge Of Networking And Cabling, And Proficiency In Using Telecom Equipment Such As Pbx Systems And Call Management Software.
