- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgeries.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are clean and properly functioning.
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and have necessary instruments and supplies ready.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and patient information.
- Communicate effectively with surgical team members, including surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists.
- Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and best practices in surgical technology.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide support and guidance to other team members, such as surgical assistants or students.
- Assist with training and orientation of new hires.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Or Certified Surgical First Assistant (Csfa) Credential From An Accredited Program.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Surgical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures, Instruments, And Equipment.
Ability To Anticipate And Respond To The Needs Of The Surgeon And Surgical Team.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure.
