We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Supervisory Pharmacist for our Pharmacy Services department. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications to our patients. Our ideal candidate is a licensed Pharmacist with previous supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. - Oversee and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy department.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations, and protocols related to pharmacy operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain the safe and efficient delivery of medications to patients.
- Monitor inventory levels and order medications and supplies as needed.
- Supervise and train pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medication management for patients.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all pharmacy activities.
- Stay updated on new medications and changes in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ensure compliance with Orlando Health's mission, vision, and values.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for all pharmacy staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining accreditation standards.
- Manage budget and resource allocation for the pharmacy department.
- Act as a liaison between the pharmacy department and other departments within the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Pharmacy Or A Related Field Is Important For A Supv, Pharmacy Services Role At Orlando Health. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Pharmaceuticals And Their Proper Use.
Active Pharmacy License In The State Of Florida: A Valid And Active Pharmacy License Is Required To Work In A Supervisory Position In A Pharmacy At Orlando Health. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Familiar With State Laws And Regulations Related To Pharmaceuticals.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Pharmacy Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Pharmacy Is Essential For A Supv, Pharmacy Services Position At Orlando Health. This Will Demonstrate That The Candidate Has A Strong Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations And Can Effectively Manage A Team.
