- Properly clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical equipment, instruments, and supplies according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workflow to ensure timely processing of equipment and supplies.
- Follow all infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
- Monitor and record sterilization equipment parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and exposure time, to ensure effectiveness.
- Inspect and assemble medical equipment and instruments to ensure they are in proper working condition and free of defects.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify and resolve any issues related to equipment sterilization and supply availability.
- Keep accurate records of all sterilization processes and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.

Certification In Sterile Processing: Candidates Should Have A Recognized Certification In Sterile Processing, Such As The Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or The Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (Cspdt).
Understanding Of Sterilization Techniques: A Thorough Knowledge Of Sterilization Techniques, Including Instrument Decontamination, Packaging, And Sterilization Methods, Is Essential For This Role.
Knowledge Of Infection Control Protocols: Sterile Processing Technicians Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Infection Control Protocols And Be Able To Follow Them Rigorously To Prevent The Spread Of Infections.
