Sterile Processing Certification: A Sterile Processing Technician Certification From A Recognized Program Is Required To Demonstrate A Thorough Understanding Of Sterilization Techniques And Best Practices.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology Is Necessary To Accurately Identify And Process Medical Instruments And Equipment.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role To Ensure That All Instruments Are Properly Decontaminated, Assembled, And Packaged For Use.
