This position requires a highly motivated individual with a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and a valid state license. - Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders.
- Provide therapy and intervention services to improve patients' communication skills.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication and overall quality of life.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Stay updated on current research and techniques in speech and language therapy.
- Maintain a valid state license and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and compassion while working with patients.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality and effective therapy services.
- Work on a pool basis, being available to provide services as needed.
- Attend team meetings and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Be a dedicated and passionate advocate for patients with speech and language disorders.
Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology: Candidates Must Possess A Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited Institution.
Certificate Of Clinical Competence (Ccc): Candidates Must Hold A Valid Ccc From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).
State Licensure: Candidates Must Be Licensed Or Eligible For Licensure As A Speech-Language Pathologist In The State Of Florida.
Previous Clinical Experience: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In An Acute Care Or Rehabilitation Setting.
Specialized Training Or Certifications: Candidates With Additional Specialized Training Or Certifications In Areas Such As Dysphagia, Voice Disorders, Or Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Will Be Given Preference.
