- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with various communication and swallowing disorders.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to improve patient communication skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding communication and swallowing strategies.
- Stay current with advancements and developments in the field of speech language pathology.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced speech language pathology staff.

Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology: Candidates For This Position Should Possess A Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited Program.
Certificate Of Clinical Competence In Speech-Language Pathology (Ccc-Slp): The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Current And Valid Ccc-Slp Certification From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).
State Licensure: Candidates Must Be Licensed To Practice Speech-Language Pathology In The State Of Florida.
Prior Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting Is Preferred, With Experience In Treating Patients With A Variety Of Communication And Swallowing Disorders.
Availability For Weekend Shifts: This Position Requires The Ability To Work Weekends, So Candidates Must Be Available To Work A Weekend Shift Schedule.
