  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for interpretation by medical professionals.
  2. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  3. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
  4. Review patient medical history and communicate with medical staff to ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and imaging results.
  6. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
  7. Educate patients about procedures and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  8. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to analyze and interpret imaging results.
  9. Keep current with industry developments and best practices in sonography.
  10. Provide excellent patient care, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism at all times.
  11. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  13. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Graduation From An Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.

  • Active Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Sonographer In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Current Ultrasound Technology And Ability To Operate And Troubleshoot Various Equipment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
