- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients as assigned, using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Produce high-quality images for physicians to interpret and assist in accurate diagnosis.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the ultrasound procedure.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and communicate any findings or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support the overall goals of the organization.
- Continuously monitor and maintain the ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
- Float between various departments and locations within the Northeast Orlando region as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Education And Training: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field Is Required. Certification By The American Registry Of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (Ardms) Is Also Required.
Experience: At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Sonographer, With A Focus On Obstetrics And Gynecology, Abdominal, And Vascular Studies. Previous Experience Working In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting Is Preferred.
Specialized Skills: Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Ultrasound Equipment, As Well As Interpreting And Analyzing Images. Knowledge Of Current Ultrasound Technology And Techniques, Including 3D And 4D Imaging, Is Also Required.
Interpersonal And Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential, As The Sonographer Ii Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. The Ability To Explain Procedures And Answer Questions In A Compassionate And Professional Manner Is Crucial.
Flexibility And Adaptability: The Sonographer Ii Will Be Working In A Float Position, Covering Multiple Locations Within The Northeast Orlando Region. Therefore, The Ability To Adapt To Different Work Environments And Schedules, As Well As Work Well Under Pressure, Is Essential. A Valid Driver's License And Reliable Transportation Are Also Required.
