- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using advanced technology and equipment.
- Obtain and record patient medical history and pertinent information.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures in a safe and comfortable manner.

Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography From An Accredited Program Is Required For A Sonographer I Position At Orlando Health. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Education In The Field Of Sonography.
Ardms Certification: Candidates Must Be Registered By The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) In Order To Be Considered For A Sonographer I Position At Orlando Health. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met National Standards For Competency And Professionalism In The Field Of Sonography.
Experience In General And Obstetric Sonography: Orlando Health Requires Candidates For A Sonographer I Position To Have A Minimum Of One Year Of Experience In General And Obstetric Sonography. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Familiar With A Wide Range Of Procedures And Can Handle Various Types Of Patients.
