  1. Operate and maintain simulation equipment and technology to ensure accurate and effective training sessions.
  2. Assist in the planning and execution of simulation-based training programs for healthcare providers.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement simulation scenarios based on current medical practices and procedures.
  4. Monitor and troubleshoot simulation equipment during training sessions to ensure smooth functionality.
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of simulation activities, including participant performance and equipment usage.
  6. Train and educate healthcare providers on the use of simulation technology and equipment.
  7. Continuously evaluate and improve simulation exercises to enhance the learning experience for participants.
  8. Stay up-to-date with current healthcare practices and procedures to ensure simulation scenarios are accurate and relevant.
  9. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to identify and implement new simulation-based training opportunities.
  10. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and secure learning environment.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of all simulation activities and participant performance.
  12. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge of simulation technology.
  13. Ensure proper sanitation and maintenance of simulation equipment and supplies.
  14. Assist with scheduling and coordinating simulation training sessions.
  15. Act as a resource and point of contact for healthcare providers regarding simulation technology and training.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience With Simulation Technology: A Qualified Simulation Technician At Orlando Health Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working With Simulation Technology, Including Knowledge Of Software And Hardware Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: An Understanding Of Medical Terminology Is Essential For A Simulation Technician To Effectively Communicate With Healthcare Professionals And Accurately Set Up Simulations.

  • Attention To Detail: In Order To Ensure Realistic And Accurate Simulations, A Simulation Technician Must Have A Strong Attention To Detail In Setting Up Equipment And Props, As Well As Programming Scenarios.
