  1. Ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws.
  2. Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate, individual, and partnership returns.
  3. Identify opportunities for tax savings and implement tax planning strategies.
  4. Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations and solutions.
  5. Prepare and file tax forms, including 1099s, W-2s, and other required forms.
  6. Review financial records and documents to ensure accuracy and identify potential tax implications.
  7. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and resolve tax-related issues.
  8. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential opportunities.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for tax reporting.
  10. Assist in the preparation of tax provision and tax accrual calculations.
  11. Prepare and present tax-related reports to management.
  12. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  13. Solve complex tax issues and provide guidance to junior tax accountants.
  14. Maintain accurate and organized records for all tax-related activities.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including ethical standards.
  16. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
  17. Train and mentor junior tax accountants.
  18. Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
  19. Ensure all tax-related deadlines are met.
  20. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Related Field

  • Cpa Certification Or Equivalent Professional Designation

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Tax Accounting, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Tax Laws And Regulations

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With Attention To Detail And Accuracy
